I get email updates for indeed, and while I didn't hear about anyone quitting at work I got a notification that there's an opening for day shift and got really excited bc I know I'm too far down on the list to get it it gave me hope. Then I saw it's for assistant (I'm tech) but I hope someone's life improves. Night shift is very hard on me since I'm a huge wimp but I need to stop complaining so much. One of my friends got laid off last summer and finally got a job but the commute is trash. And its like, getting something when you're desperate and when you have to have a job no matter what sucks bc it's still a commitment for who knows how long. I obviously hope nothing happens to me and I don't get fired and get to get a day shift job on my own time and own terms. There is definitely a lot of time off with this place and they don't go crazy with overtime like other places I've been.

Keep seeing pictures of Japan at night and pictures of other cities that look awesome and its like, okay I don't live there so I can't walk around anywhere cool at night so night shift does suck. I kind of wish I could get some kind of remote part time job I could do at night to at least have more money if I can't have more enjoyable time to myself.

I saved these to my phone from twitter and don't know who took them now, sorry :(
