Trying not to be selfish but I still hate night shift I hate the overcast weather I hate the cold I hate never getting proper sleep I hate that I'm going to miss most of Thanksgiving I hate that it was too difficult to move to Pennsylvania I hate this phone keyboard I hate AI I hate data centers I hate that one of my unemployed friends still has not been able to get a job I am just a hater

 Update! 11/25! Overtime while I'm off and its my turn to be drafted (I have to do it) but they wont tell me which day! No idea if I'm working on Thanksgiving or not! I'll find out before the end of my shift or tomorrow!

For real, if vacation days are marked off on the calender *at least* a month in advance why is it so hard to tell of you're going to have someone cover that person's shift? My last job did this too, I guess thats just how it is now but jfc
